1970's Gunne Sax Blue Patchwork Empire-Waist Cottage Core Lace-up Dress
I wasn't going to sell this dress because I love it and have been wearing it. But someone reached out to me looking for a specific Gunne dress (long-sleeved but similar to this corset look) and I took images of this beauty, sent them to said-person and thought, "If she doesn't buy it, I'll put it up."
So here she is.
I call it my milkmaid dress..."Blue Milkmaid Gunne Sax Dress" is the name of the folder on my laptop containing the photos.
I mean, amiright? Add a big-eyed Brown Swiss cow and you've got a look.
Or just wear a jeans jacket or cute cardigan and go out for ice cream.
Same same.
You look cute and dairy is involved so...yeah.
I digress. I've sold many Gunne Sax sundresses over the years with this corset-tie look so when I went to take a photo of the tag and saw that it was laundered clear off, I was in a conundrum.
It looks like a Gunne, twirls like a Gunne, but is it a Gunne or not?
You decide. I have no proof that it is, nor do I have proof that it is not. See...conundrum.
Solution: Go out for ice cream. Preferably something with coffee in it because coffee—yum! Pull the dress up on your phone. Enjoy your ice cream.
Imagine yourself in the dress. Enjoy your ice cream. Hit BUY...or not. Enjoy your ice cream.
For a lower caloric option—or if you're lactose intolerant, visit one of those farms where they have those sweet, pretty bovines munching on grass and repeat the "imagine process" above.
