Meet Birdsong, she is a stunning, rare and precious late 70s Liberty Tana Lawn William Morris print beauty by Marion Donaldson. I love love love this dress, her print is not only amazing, just look at those birds, but is also in the most stunning pastel spring palette, with a white base and touches of fresh green, blue and lilac. She has a button front bodice, high mandarin collar, beautiful sleeves and a full midi length skirt and has beautiful piped detailing. This is a really special dress which is so versatile, something to truly cherish..

The Birdsong has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear. Sadly her belt buckle has rusted over time and some of the belt holes are rusted on the inside, is still usable but could also easily be worn without, see photos for more. Also has one tiny pin sized mark to her skirt. This has been reflected in her price, this dress would usually be priced at around £120.

PLEASE NOTE - I also had the belt fastened the wrong way when shot on the mannequin, the rusting on the belt holes is on the inside and cannot be seen when worn the right way.

 This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear.
