Elie Saab is a Lebanese fashion designer who has established himself as a prominent figure in the fashion industry. Born in Beirut in 1964, Saab showed an interest in fashion from a young age and started designing clothes for his siblings and classmates. In 1982, at the age of 18, he opened his own fashion atelier where he began creating custom-made garments for his clients. In 1986, Saab's career took off when he showcased his first collection at a fashion show in Rome.
