There's a lot to love about this vintage 1960s men's long sleeve shirt. The fit is body conscious, the collar is oversized without being extreme, the fabric has that cool two-tone look that sharkskin weave gives, and the color is quintessentially earth toned 60s. The shirt is fitted to the body with vertical darts, and has a shirttail hem. There is a single chest pocket.

FABRIC/COLORS: The fabric is lightweight with nice drape and a silky feel. It is a shimmery sharkskin using rust/dark orange threads in one direction and gold/dark yellow in the other. Fabric content tag says it's 80% Dacron polyester with 20% cotton. Also tagged "permanent Press, Needs No Ironing"

CLOSURES: The shirt closes with six pearly orange plastic buttons down the front - buttonholes are vertical.

CONDITION: No stains, holes or tears. A previous owner removed the stitching for the vertical darts in back - the original stitching pattern is still visible. It should iron out if that's your preference, but I would personally recommend re-doing the stitching, which would would be a simple task of less than 5 minutes for anyone with a sewing machine. The shirt originally had removable collar stays, which are gone - not seen unless you look underneath the collar points.
