The challenge with going with your gut when you're out treasure hunting is trying to then learn all you can about the special piece that you know is in your hot little hands. Which leads us to this fabulous Burberry purse. Hours were spent scouring our resources trying to track down this very different logo, signature plaid lining, and purse style itself. Two out of three ain't bad.. The logo was originally released in the 1920s and is called Shelter under the Burberrys; it shows a man and a woman in their Burberry raincoats and two dogs under a signpost with the Burberry logo. This dark navy blue bag was most likely made in the 80s for Japanese export (Japan was a very big market for Burberry in the 80s). It is a nice medium sized navy blue smooth leather in a very classic hobo style. The adjustable strap allows it to be worn crossbody or shoulder style, and the interior is lined in black leather and iconic blue Nova Check lining. If you prefer your iconic designer items to be subtle rather than overt, this is the perfect purse for you!

~CONDITION:

Excellent vintage condition. There are no stains, popped stitches or excessively worn corners. The only callout to possibly make is minor wrinkles in the leather, probably from storage, and some white scuffs on the side of the strap that are about 2.5mm each (there are 4 of them). Thats's it. We have gone ahead and cleaned the interior and conditioned the leather in preparation for its next stop in life.
