Our Trafford shirt is among our new washed button-down collection. The wash is an environmentally-friendly garment finish given for a softer, more wearable feel. The Trafford shirt is cut from an charcoal dot print chambray cotton fabric. The collar is the perfect height for a button-down - not too tall and floppy, and not too fashion-forward small. It’s gone through a special wash that leaves the garment feeling soft and comfortable. The cuffs are rounded and convertible, there are side gussets, and a single breast pocket.

Fabric

Egyptian cotton is a particular variety that is grown in only a few other places. It is renowned as some of the best in the world. It has an extra long staple, which means it has longer fibers, resulting in a silkier, more durable fabric. Chambray fabric is typically a cotton, light-weight fabric that has a colored yarn used in the warp, and a white yarn used in the weft, with a plain weave construction. This simple, alternating weave creates a subtle pattern - and what is once thought of as a "solid" color, becomes and interesting, dynamic pattern.
