The Holborn is a part of our Professionals Collection, a series of elegant dress shirts in understated blue and white patterns inspired by the historic tailors and craftsmen of London. Featuring a dark blue thin stripe pattern, the Holborn has a traditional semi-spread collar and convertible cuffs which can be worn with or without cufflinks. Two-ply Egyptian cotton makes for one incredibly comfortable dress shirt you'll want to wear well beyond 9-5. Fitted with back darts and our signature Hugh & Crye sizing, these Professionals may just be better than bespoke.

Fabric

Egyptian cotton is a particular variety that is grown in only a few other places. It is renowned as some of the best in the world. It has an extra long staple, which means it has longer fibers, resulting in a silkier, more durable fabric.Poplin, sometimes called broadcloth, is a plain weave which means the threads alternately cross over and then under each other. This results in a very smooth and durable fabric that has an almost silky hand feel, particularly with higher thread counts. Also, poplins look very crisp when ironed.
