Vintage 1970's men's two piece suit. Exquisite Blue hued stripes with dark blue & white ovals.

Polyester suiting, not quite a leisure suit, two (2) button tailored jacket is fitted with back half belt. Kitsch, yet elegant with notched split collar, two button split cuffs, flap chest & two hip pockets (still sewn shut), two inner slit pockets, partial lining.

Interesting history for Style-Mart Clothes: In 1899 the Mayfield Pants Company was founded from a woolen mill in Mayfield Kansas, that made military blankets during the Civil War, & started expanding in the 1860s (after the war), 1910 Curlee Clothing Company and Merit Clothing Company Factory opened, 1927 6121 opened, and in 1932 Style-Mart Clothes came to pass with Joan Crawford as their spokesperson.

Cohoes Fashions, founded in the city of Cohoes NY (I believe in the late 60s), was known for its high-quality, brand-name merchandise at discount prices. They employed highly knowledgeable salespersons and offered custom alterations. Its annual Washington's Birthday sale attracted thousands of people by the busload. They were purchased by Burlington Coat Factory in the late 80s
