Vintage late 1940s early 1950’s ‘ Hattie Carnegie’ stunning new look black jacket. Featuring the classic new look silhouette made famous by Dior. The silhouette of this piece is exquisite with the most fabulous nipped in waist with padded layer. It has a lovely contrast collar work detailing with raised braid work and has a classic small button front fastening.

The perfect little black jacket to accentuate the female form and an iconic silhouette to replicate that of the new look period. A lovely treat to yourself or someone special.

Great Vintage Condition, flaws to note - the interior lining underarm seam work will need some restitching. At some point new shoulder pads were added but this doesn’t detract at all it enhances the shaping and silhouette. Ready to wear.
