In this bright and lively 2-pc. set with Matisse-like flat cut-out print. Funky purple, teal and orange shapes are spaced apart on a fuchsia background. The medium weight silk is fairly matte, but sheen isn't need with these vibrant colors! The skirt in this set is fairly basic, with a one inch width waistband and A-line flared silhouette. The top, however, is very unique, with an asymmetrical ruffle-edged round neckline that snaps closed over the left shoulder and is finished with two thin self-fabric string ties (we left them dangling in the photos, as we aren't the biggest fans of bows). The short, but structured sleeves are lightly shoulder-padded. Both piece are unlined, and without further design details, with the exception of a hidden hip pocket at left side of skirt, at hook + eye closure. The overall condition is near mint to very good, with only one small flaw: light fading or sun damage to colors at shoulders (see the one shade difference in final photo). The label at back shirt has been cut, but this set was purchased along with many other designer pieces (formerly used as wardrobe for a Soap Opera!). I wouldn't be surprised, given the details and finishing of this set, if they are designer pieces. Please note: the sizing of the blouse is different from the sizing of the skirt and measurements for both are listed below.
