To protect your investment, we recommend cleaning leather tack daily after use with a damp sponge and Hrimnir glycerine saddle soap. 

If your saddle is properly oiled in the beginning, and regularly cleaned with HRÍMNIR glycerine saddle soap, it will be sufficiently water repellent to avoid white marks if exposed to rain or mud splash. However, immediately towel dry excess water with a soft cloth, as rain or splash spots may leave pale marks after being left to dry. Let the saddle dry completely before storing it with its cover.

Remember cleaning the stirrup leathers, too.
