#gustavthemouse is knitted top-down on a 2,5 mm [US1 or US2] long circular needle. The knitting tension depends on the yarn you choose. To ensure that your Gustav looks like in the photos, it is recommended to use yarn of similar weight as in this pattern.

It is recommended to knit with the «Magic Loop» technique.

Sandnes Garn Merino, Sandnes Garn Double Sunday, 2 strands of Sandnes Garn Sunday, 2 strands of Sandnes Garn Tynn Merino, 2 strands of Knitting for Olive Merino, 1 strand Sandnes Garn Tynn Merino knitted with 1 strand Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair (or equivalent). There are endless possibilities!

Other materials:
long (at least 80 cm) 2,5 mm circular needles [US no equivalent, use 1 or 2]
thin black yarn or embroidery yarn for the nose, eyes and whiskers
some left over yarn or fiber fill to fill the mouse
