The Ocean Lounge Chair is a new addition to the very popular Ocean Collection from Mater. The Ocean Collection is a reimagined design from 1955 with an updated touch. The Danish designers Joergen and Nanna Ditzel have focused on an innovative solution to prevent the pollution of the oceans. This is due to the use of the ocean plastic waste in the production of the Ocean products.

This series is made for outdoor use and it is characterised by the light structure and the simple metal frame. Feel free to take a look at some of the other Ocean products such as the Ocean Lounge Table and Ocean Chair.

The lounge chairs are suitable for outdoor use and come in three different finishes: Black, Green and Sand.

The Black and Sand Ocean Lounge Chair slats are made from discarded fishing nets mixed with recycled hard plastic. One seat contains 1350g / 47oz ocean plastic waste.

The Green OC2 Ocean Lounge Chair is made from discarded beer kegs and recycled hard plastic. One chair contains 1500g / 53oz beer keg plastic waste.
