Timing Port Closure
The timing port of a hydraulic brake is the connection between the reservoir and the lever cylinder bore.When the lever is pressed, a cup seal passes over this area and closes the port, pressurizing the system.The SRAM distribution port closure system features durable seals and an ultra-smooth cylinder bore finish that produces reliable braking power and consistency.
Expandable Bladder
The new SRAM brake lever design includes a reshaped membrane that helps regulate and reduce air bubbles.The membrane is specially shaped to evacuate air from the lever and push fluid exactly where needed.The result is better backpressure release, producing reliable braking power and consistency.
